I understand that trying to find the right person to talk to might not be easy. I invite you for the initial meeting, where we can decide whether the kind of therapy that I offer would best meet your needs. Although sometimes it takes time to build trust, identify the goals and create the change, it is also important that you feel comfortable for me to be part of that journey. There is no obligation to continue the meetings. Methods and interventions that I use are tailored to the presenting issues of my clients and are carefully selected. My practice is informed by intersectionality and I consider the impact of my clients' cultural and religous background, ethnicity, age and other factors that might impact how one behave and perceive the world. My approach is very collaborative. I would like to help you to take the control back of your life and be satisfied with the situation that you are in. I make sure that my clients are in charge of their therapy and progress and I facilitate the change. I am very transparent and flexible and I treat the therapeutic relationship as a two way communication. I appreciate the feedback and honest opinion. My approach is based on family systemic therapy. Every meeting is different and there are no wrong or right answers. Every narrative is unique and it is important to take into consideration various aspects of our behaviour, thoughts and feelings. Sometimes the dysfunctional behaviour or distressing thoughts are representations of the system or environment that is faulty. We live in a context of mutual influence and interactions with others. Without negating the significance of individual internal processes and behaviour I invite my clients to also notice broader interpersonal perspectives.

I am a clinical and counselling psychologist registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC - http://www.hcpc-uk.co.uk/). I completed my degree, presenting dissertation and research project identifying the impact of employment on quality of life for people diagnosed with schizophrenia. After qualifying I worked in social services where I become a Specialist Family Support Practitioner. I also expanded my professional development completing additional training in Systemic Family Therapy and Crisis Intervention. I worked organising community support for people with learning disabilities, elderly and those with dementia. I then specialised in managing rehabilitation packages for people affected by traumatic and acquired brain injury and neurological conditions. I continued my training in Systemic Family Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy. Also I completed training in executive coaching and mentoring. Since 2009 I have worked therapeutically with individuals, couples and families. I consider myself to be very lucky doing what I love and I enjoy every moment of the therapeutic relationships created with my clients in our meetings.
