People seek psychotherapy for a variety of reasons but usually there is a sense of unfulfillment, unrealised potential or unhappiness. Together we can engage with your unique issue and its underlying causes. We will identify patterns and assumptions (conscious or unconscious) you may hold. Through examining them we can begin to think about what is really important to you and how you might implement positive change in your life. I practice in a way that seeks to understand your current situation in the context of your past experiences. For some, this will mean focusing on a particular event or area of distress; for others it will involve spending time checking in with themselves and exploring an alternative perspective.

Currently I am only able to offer short term therapy.

It is very important that you find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and safe. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial consultation.

I have experience working with a variety of concerns, which include:

*Anxiety and stress* Low self esteem* Relationship problems* Depression Bereavement and loss* Lack of confidence* Feelings of meaninglessness* Personality disorders*Addiction* Self-harm and self-destructive behaviours*

It is completely understandable to be apprehensive about starting therapy. Nearly everyone finds it difficult to go to that first session. But very few regret it when they do.
