Stillpoint Spaces London is inviting artists, thinkers, creators and others to take part in a series of six sessions to develop a collaborative body of work on the theme of "The Meme".

Starting on Mondays from the 4th February and finishing 11th March, these sessions will culminate in an exhibition that will be installed at Stillpoint Spaces London and will open to coincide with our 2nd Anniversary Open Day event on March 16th, 2019.

This series of critical developmental work sessions will be an ideal opportunity for artists and others of all disciplines and backgrounds to explore the potential in a short-term, collaborative process to be enjoyed by the public.

Interested parties should submit a 200 word 'Statement of Interest' using the concept of MEME as a starting point. It can be a creative or academically-focused response - both are valid - but it must be something you are willing to share with the group at the first meeting. These statements will form the beginning of the group discussions.

The content and direction of the project will be driven by the group itself and will be facilitated by Stillpoint Spaces London's in-house artist and curator Kate Holford, who will participate in the collaboration.

Spaces are limited to allow for all voices to be given enough space in the collaborative process. Please consider your 'Statement of Interest' as your creative introductions and initial intentions (which might change) for the project. We will be filling spaces on a first come first serve basis.

Statements can be emailed to arts.london@stillpointspaces.com.

If you would like to follow this project and other art happenings at Stillpoint Spaces London, follow our dedicated arts page @StillpointSpacesLDN_arts.

A note on suitability:

The intention behind this project is to bring together people from a variety of disciplines to create something new. If you are not an 'artist' or don't identify as a 'creative', but would like to contribute to the project please don't let this deter you from applying.

Accessibility: At Stillpoint Spaces our aim is to make our events as accessible as possible. However, the building we currently occupy is accessible only by stairwells. Do let us know in advance any issues affecting your accessibility & we will do our very best to accommodate you.
